Care Advice

For color, a lighter shade of brown will add lightness and airiness without a dramatic color change. Here, the hair was separated into one-inch zigzag sections and then subtly lightened. A few random layers underneath were given slightly more contrast. The result is an overall lightening of the hair with a cople of additional bold highlights to create interest.

THE COLOR: To create Sandra's color, Federico suggests applying a single process, ail over color in mahogany.

THE COLOR: For Sandra's base color, Federico suggests using dark blonde. Add a series of highlights in eye-catching butterfly colors: butter-blonde, platinum and banana, to create this dramatic look.

THE COLOR: For this look, Federico recommends using a dark brown base and a trio of highlights: copper-chestnut highlights, light mahogany-chestnut highlights as well as dark copper-blonde highlights.

THE COLOR: Start off by relaxing your hair. Then, Federico suggests dying your hair a warm chestnut base, dispersing a few light golden-chestnut highlights as well.
